Angela Marshall, M.D.
Angela is a board-certified internist who has practiced medicine in the Washington, DC metropolitan area since 2002. Her primary-care practice, Comprehensive Women’s Health, serves thousands of women in the metro area. Angela speaks regularly on topics related to wellness, weight management, and women’s health issues. She has helped countless women reach their weight goals and live better lives.
Angela earned her medical degree at Indiana University and completed a residency in internal medicine at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Shari Willis, Ph.D.
Shari is a certified health coach with a particular interest in applying principles of positive psychology and social cognitive theory to health and wellness. Much of her work has emphasized health-promoting behaviors and disability- and health-related issues. Shari holds a Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision from the University of Maryland and a master's degree in counseling psychology from Loyola College. She is a member of the Institute of Coaching Professional Association, the International Positive Psychology Association, and the American Psychological Association.
Ingrid Carter, Ph.D.
Ingrid is a certified health coach who wants to help women and families live well-balanced, happy lives. In addition to providing weight and wellness coaching, she has co-facilitated a skills-based stress reduction and wellness promotion group and coached graduate students in completing their dissertations. Ingrid has also conducted research on the relationship between mood and eating. She has a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and master's degrees in psychology and biology.
